HYPNOSIS TO ELIMINATE FEARS, PHOBIAS & ANXIETY

When we understand how an anxiety, fear or phobias is created or learned. We can then understand that just as easily as they or learned. They can be unlearned as well.

What you need to understand is, that we really never had anything consciously do with learning that irrational fear or anxiety at all.

In fact it was simply just our brain, doing it's best effort to protect us. When something traumatic happens, while we are in a high state of emotion. Our brain takes; if you will, a "snap shot" of that "thing" or "situation". Then right at that specific moment. It is like we form a part of us to protect us. Like a protective mechanism.

As human beings we form parts of us all of the time, to do all kinds of things, that in turn, allows us a human beings, to be able to function at the level we need to function at as human beings. You have a part of you that drives, a part that ties your shoes, a part that walk, talks, reads. These parts are formed to run at an unconscious level, so you don't really have to think about walking, you just do it. You don't have to think about the million little adjustments on the steering wheel. While you talk to your friend, change the radio, sip you coffee, and drive your car, from point A to point B. You just do it without much conscious effort or even thought at all. This is the same when we form these parts of us to protect us. So now if you will. Now and forever; that part that was created as that protective mechanism. Will forever now, scan your environment for anything that might look, feel, smell, taste, or even represents that "thing" or "situation". When that part is triggered, it then responds, and as that part responds, your body responds as well. 1st thing that happens is we freeze. Perhaps we start to get a reaction in the body. (Hands get clamy, stomach tightens, body goes numb.) Then if that doesn't work. We do one of the other two options we either fight, or flee. Most often we flee, hide, avoid, run. And most often we do these things, even when there's isn't even much of a threat at all. It then becomes more of an irrational response than a logical one. We all need the natural concern for our well-being and safety. What we don't need is the irrationality of it all. What we don't need it is stopping us from living our life!

So how do we change these unconscious parts, these habits, these behaviors? Well with the tool of hypnosis of course! Hypnosis used with a therapy approach. Allows the hypnotist to then establish communication, with those unconscious parts of an individual. We can have those parts learn new things that will allow the client to still have whatever positive intention that parts was trying to accomplish, but will at the same time, do something else entirely, that does not involve that unwanted behavior. Essentially freeing that person of whatever it was that was keeping them stuck.

Real change starts at the unconscious level.
